Dr. Ali Nejat, Ph.D, P.E., PMP

Ali is a construction management expert spanning areas of Alternative Delivery Methods, Risk Management BIM with research interests in Modeling Dynamics of Post-disaster recovery, Agent-based Modeling, System Dynamics, Infrastructure Management and Transportation Construction Management. Ali’s research in resilient infrastructure and disaster recovery is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). His NSF-funded research is centered on developing an agent-based model of collective housing recovery in the aftermath of disasters. Ali’s work has been published extensively including books and he is a recipient of multiple awards including the NSF CAREER award and the Texas Tech University Whitacre College of Engineering Research Award.

He has a Doctorate in Construction Engineering and Management from Texas A&M University. He is an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University.
